Walking I, like many other people, like to take a walk in the park when I am feeling stressed out. By placing one foot in front of the other in a rhythmic fashion, I can bring my consciousness back into line. At one of the lowest moments in my life, I walked all the way from Columbus Circle to the East Village along Broadway without stopping. By the time I got downtown, what was bothering me when I was uptown felt really far away. |
Park Parks are great public spots where the people of Our Community can play baseball, jog, or relax and read on warm sunny days. McCarren Park is the central park in Our Community. It is a nice park, but you can still tell that you are in the city when you are in it because of the skyscrapers visible to the west. The best park in the city is Prospect Park, because when you are surrounded by its tall trees, you forget you are in Brooklyn. |
Ordinary The ordinary is magical. So many people think that they have to fantasize in order to have fun. I think the best way to have an interesting life is to make every moment of everyday existence into something spectacular. |
